I recent\u00adly told you about my mor\u00adning mues\u00adli. Today the reci\u00adpe con\u00adti\u00adnues: In addi\u00adti\u00adon to rye, mil\u00adlet and lin\u00adseed, it also includes two fruits: an apple and a bana\u00adna. \nThe self-evi\u00addence of fruit bearing
\nOn the third day of the act of crea\u00adti\u00adon, the LORD<\/span> said, \u00abLet grass grow on the earth, and let it bring forth plants bea\u00adring seed, and trees full of various kinds of fruit, with their seed in them. And so it came to pass\u00bb (Gene\u00adsis 1:11 NLB<\/span>). God put repro\u00adduc\u00adtion into the crea\u00adtio. A cof\u00adfee machi\u00adne goes to the recy\u00adcling yard wit\u00adhout repro\u00addu\u00adcing first. God\u2019s crea\u00adtures, on the other hand, pro\u00addu\u00adce a lot of fruit with mil\u00adli\u00adons of seeds.
\nIn a para\u00adble, Jesus talks about a fig tree that does not bear fruit. The owner speaks the fol\u00adlo\u00adwing words after an ulti\u00adma\u00adtum has expi\u00adred: \u00abFinal\u00adly he said to his gar\u00adde\u00adner: \u00abI have now wai\u00adted three years and have not seen a sin\u00adgle fig! \nWhat is the fruit of a per\u00adson groun\u00added in God? In the Chris\u00adti\u00adan con\u00adtext, this ques\u00adti\u00adon is often ans\u00adwe\u00adred with offen\u00adsi\u00adve, extro\u00adver\u00adted examp\u00adles: Lea\u00adding peo\u00adp\u00adle to Jesus, heal\u00ading the sick, cas\u00adting out demons \u2013 just like Jesus did back then. If a Chris\u00adti\u00adan goes about with this cla\u00adim, it leads eit\u00adher to frus\u00adtra\u00adti\u00adon or hypo\u00adcri\u00adsy. Not one per\u00adson is like Christ \u2013 tog\u00ade\u00adther we form the body of Christ. The Bible cle\u00adar\u00adly defends its\u00adelf against the indi\u00advi\u00addua\u00adli\u00adstic view: \u00abBut you are dif\u00adfe\u00adrent, for you are a cho\u00adsen peo\u00adp\u00adle. You are a roy\u00adal priest\u00adhood, God\u2019s holy peo\u00adp\u00adle, his per\u00adso\u00adnal pos\u00adses\u00adsi\u00adon. [\u2026]\u00bb (1 Peter 2:9 NLB<\/span>). Jesus is the king and the high priest. Tog\u00ade\u00adther we are a roy\u00adal priest\u00adhood, God\u2019s per\u00adso\u00adnal peo\u00adp\u00adle. What Jesus was and did, we can only do tog\u00ade\u00adther! A roy\u00adal priest\u00adhood has the task of con\u00adnec\u00adting peo\u00adp\u00adle with God. The fruit of my life should be a small con\u00adtri\u00adbu\u00adti\u00adon to this. Tog\u00ade\u00adther with the fruit of other peo\u00adp\u00adle, the\u00adre is a gre\u00adat effect, so that the mira\u00adcle hap\u00adpens and peo\u00adp\u00adle find their way into a per\u00adso\u00adnal rela\u00adti\u00adonship with God.

Figs do not grow on thor\u00adny bus\u00adhes and gra\u00adpes do not grow on brambles. A good man brings forth good deeds from a good heart [\u2026]\u00bb (Luke 6:44f NLB<\/span>). Fruit is defi\u00adned by \u00abgood deeds\u00bb. Good deeds grow whe\u00adre peo\u00adp\u00adle are roo\u00adted in God and drink from the living water.
\nIts fruit
\n\u00abWho brings forth his fruit.\u00bb The natu\u00adral con\u00adse\u00adquence of a life foun\u00added in God is the coming forth of genui\u00adne (own, real, natu\u00adral) fruit. And not only the coming forth, but even more fun\u00adda\u00admen\u00adtal\u00adly, the awa\u00adre\u00adness that fruit is dif\u00adfe\u00adrent in my life than in the lives of other peo\u00adp\u00adle. Sure: pears on a pear tree, plums on a plum tree, app\u00adles on an apple tree. God obvious\u00adly wants my life to pro\u00addu\u00adce the very fruit that can only come out \u2013 in this form and with this \u00abtas\u00adte\u00bb \u2013 from my own life.
\nThe\u00adre are fruits that I don\u2019t par\u00adti\u00adcu\u00adlar\u00adly love, e.g. goo\u00adse\u00adber\u00adries, per\u00ads\u00adim\u00admons, cous\u00adcous, pome\u00adgra\u00adna\u00adtes or duri\u00adan. The duri\u00adan, bet\u00adter known in this coun\u00adtry as a stin\u00adky fruit, is main\u00adly known for its strong smell, which even gets it ban\u00adned from many places. The\u00adre are air\u00adlines that do not trans\u00adport duri\u00adans. May\u00adbe you think that only the stin\u00adky duri\u00adan grows in your coun\u00adtry. At the same time, you squint at the other one, whe\u00adre you dis\u00adco\u00adver fra\u00adgrant blueberries.

We give the king\u00addom of God the place it needs \u2013 and then it grows up. We do not pro\u00addu\u00adce it.
\nIt is not uncom\u00admon for peo\u00adp\u00adle to hold back their gifts out of a fee\u00adling of infe\u00adrio\u00adri\u00adty. They value them too litt\u00adle. In this way they dam\u00adpen their gifts. They give litt\u00adle space to the fruit in the\u00adse are\u00adas. It is not a mat\u00adter of ove\u00adre\u00adsti\u00admat\u00ading ones\u00adelf, but of having a healt\u00adhy rela\u00adti\u00adonship with one\u2019s own fruit. It is a mat\u00adter of neither ove\u00adre\u00adsti\u00admat\u00ading nor unde\u00adre\u00adsti\u00admat\u00ading it, but of giving it space so that it can deve\u00adlop. God gives each of us a fer\u00adti\u00adle pie\u00adce of land that we may cul\u00adti\u00adva\u00adte. Life blos\u00adsoms whe\u00adre we reco\u00adg\u00adni\u00adse and accept what God has given us and then real\u00adly make it our own.
\nTo find out what kind of inhe\u00adri\u00adtance God has ent\u00adrus\u00adted to us, we have to approach, enga\u00adge, expe\u00adri\u00adment and take risks. It is about fin\u00adding the place in life whe\u00adre your pas\u00adsi\u00adon, your gift and per\u00adso\u00adna\u00adli\u00adty come to flower and bear much fruit. The gre\u00adat frame\u00adwork for this is the expres\u00adsi\u00adon roy\u00adal priest\u00adhood. Peo\u00adp\u00adle are to be brought into cont\u00adact with the glo\u00adrious and holy God. This also requi\u00adres the fruit that grows in you becau\u00adse you are roo\u00adted in the stream of water.
\nOn a sun\u00adny cor\u00adner of a cast\u00adle near Lon\u00addon, at Hamp\u00adton Court, stands the lar\u00adgest vine in Euro\u00adpe. From the\u00adre the vine drew its inex\u00adhaus\u00adti\u00adble abun\u00addance, the strength, the sap.
\nBrin\u00adging forth fruit brings joy, gives mea\u00adning to life, belongs to it and is an unmist\u00adaka\u00adble sign of being roo\u00adted to the water. Or to put it ano\u00adther way: tho\u00adse who con\u00adnect their roots to the living water bear their fruit in their own time. Jesus offers us living water. John explains: \u00abBy \u00abliving water\u00bb he meant the Spi\u00adrit, who would be given to ever\u00adyo\u00adne who belie\u00adved in him [\u2026]\u00bb (John 7:39 NLB<\/span>). Through faith in Jesus Christ we get the spring con\u00adnec\u00adtion that pro\u00addu\u00adces fruit in us and through us; be it duri\u00adan or blueberry!
