\nWhen we moved to Switz\u00ader\u00adland two years ago, I show\u00aded my child\u00adren some You\u00adTube vide\u00ados about Switz\u00ader\u00adland. One of them was made by an immi\u00adgrant and was cal\u00adled \u00abTen things to know about Switzerland\u00bb.

\nThe\u00adse three sto\u00adries are from the Old Tes\u00adta\u00adment. To under\u00adstand what hap\u00adpen\u00aded on the cross, we need the know\u00adledge from the Old Tes\u00adta\u00adment. Today is Good Fri\u00adday and I want to bring us clo\u00adser to what hap\u00adpen\u00aded 2000 years ago.
\nIn the Let\u00adter to the Hebrews we read about a new Yom Kip\u00adpur fes\u00adti\u00adval \u00abBut now that time has daw\u00adned, for now Christ has come, the high priest who brought us the true goods. Jesus is not tal\u00adking about an old, tra\u00addi\u00adtio\u00adnal Pas\u00adso\u00adver meal. He is tal\u00adking about a Pas\u00adso\u00adver meal of the future. Jesus\u00bb blood saves not only the first\u00adborn from death, but all who want to cla\u00adim sal\u00adva\u00adti\u00adon. Jesus cele\u00adbra\u00adted 2000 years ago, the Updated Pas\u00adso\u00adver (2.0), which we call the Lord\u2019s Sup\u00adper today.
