\nIn this world, many things are wrong becau\u00adse they are wrong with the human being. Meta\u00admor\u00adpho\u00adsis is to trans\u00adform our being into the strength of cha\u00adrac\u00adter ori\u00adgi\u00adnal\u00adly inten\u00added by God. The Ser\u00admon on the Mount (Matthew 5\u20137) con\u00adta\u00adins the cor\u00adre\u00adspon\u00adding cha\u00adrac\u00adter for\u00adma\u00adti\u00adon, that someone beco\u00admes a flou\u00adris\u00adhing per\u00adson and can make an important con\u00adtri\u00adbu\u00adti\u00adon that things are right with the world again.
\nThe first infor\u00adma\u00adti\u00adon we get from the New Tes\u00adta\u00adment is: \u00abThis is the book of the histo\u00adry of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abra\u00adham\u00bb (Matthew 1:1 Lut). Man is crea\u00adted to ori\u00aden\u00adta\u00adte hims\u00adelf to the Crea\u00adtor, to take up the rhythm of the Crea\u00adtor in the sha\u00adping of his life. Sin means: Man no lon\u00adger lis\u00adtens to the music of hea\u00adven. The result is repre\u00adhen\u00adsi\u00adble and des\u00adtruc\u00adti\u00adve actions. Wit\u00adhout the Crea\u00adtor, the crea\u00adtu\u00adre is soon exhaus\u00adted. God takes the initia\u00adti\u00adve. He does not give up on the stumb\u00adling man. He longs for res\u00adto\u00adra\u00adti\u00adon. This basic music resounds throug\u00adhout the bibli\u00adcal nar\u00adra\u00adti\u00adve. The who\u00adle Bible is about the ques\u00adti\u00adon of how man can beco\u00adme a God-dancer again \u2013 also in the Ser\u00admon on the Mount!
\nThe Psalms are the cent\u00adre of the Old Tes\u00adta\u00adment school of dance. Here it is about how peo\u00adp\u00adle find their way back into the rhythm of God\u2019s music, so that things are right again with him and then also with the world.
\nPsalm 1: Basic decision
\nPsalm 1 is the gate\u00adway into wis\u00addom-spi\u00adri\u00adtu\u00adal cha\u00adrac\u00adter formation:
\n\u00abHap\u00adpy is he who does not fol\u00adlow the advice of ungod\u00adly men, who does not fol\u00adlow the same path as tho\u00adse who reject God, who does not asso\u00adcia\u00adte with scof\u00adfers. \nHuman life is repre\u00adsen\u00adted here in the image of the tree and two pos\u00adsi\u00adbi\u00adli\u00adties of deve\u00adlo\u00adp\u00adment are pre\u00adsen\u00adted: blos\u00adso\u00adming and bea\u00adring fruit or withe\u00adring and being blown away by the wind. Man must deci\u00adde whe\u00adre he wants to \u00abloca\u00adte\u00bb his life. Hap\u00adpy are the peo\u00adp\u00adle who long for God\u2019s ins\u00adtruc\u00adtions, medi\u00adta\u00adte on them and want to ali\u00adgn their who\u00adle life with them. Only after this decis\u00adi\u00adon does the meta\u00admor\u00adpho\u00adsis fol\u00adlow \u2013 dancing to God\u2019s music. The image of the tree makes the pro\u00adcess clear. Vir\u00adtu\u00ades and cha\u00adrac\u00adter traits that do jus\u00adti\u00adce to God\u2019s liken\u00adess to God ripen like fruit on a tree. \nPsalm 1 con\u00adgra\u00adtu\u00adla\u00adtes tho\u00adse who make a good basic decis\u00adi\u00adon and pro\u00admi\u00adses: Whoe\u00adver lives his life far from God\u2019s music will stumb\u00adle and fail. But tho\u00adse who plant their lives in the com\u00admu\u00adni\u00adty of tho\u00adse who lis\u00adten to God\u2019s music will dance into hap\u00adpi\u00adness. \nPsalm 2: King\u00adship of God

Trans\u00adfor\u00adma\u00adti\u00adon of our being and the king\u00addom of God are rela\u00adted to each other. God wants to estab\u00adlish his king\u00addom and do this with us! In con\u00adcre\u00adte terms, this means that the trans\u00adfor\u00adma\u00adti\u00adon of our being (cul\u00adti\u00adva\u00adti\u00adon of vir\u00adtu\u00ades and cha\u00adrac\u00adter) and the rea\u00adli\u00adsa\u00adti\u00adon of God\u2019s reign belong tog\u00ade\u00adther. Psalm 1 is then not only the gate\u00adway to indi\u00advi\u00addu\u00adal-pri\u00adva\u00adte pie\u00adty, but belongs to the basic stu\u00addy for lea\u00adders in socie\u00adty, busi\u00adness and poli\u00adtics. Not for not\u00adhing did Ben\u00adja\u00admin Frank\u00adlin, one of the foun\u00adding fathers of the USA<\/span>, say: \u00abA Bible and a dai\u00adly news\u00adpa\u00adper in every house. E.g.: \u00abThen Natha\u00adni\u00adel cried out: \u00abRab\u00adbi, you are the Son of God, you are the King of Isra\u00adel!\u00bb \u00bb (John 1:49 NG\u00dc<\/span>; cf. also Luke 1:32; Matthew 3:17; Luke 3:22). The pro\u00adject of God\u2019s king\u00adship will come to frui\u00adti\u00adon in the anoin\u00adted \u00abSon of God\u00bb. The\u00adr\u00ade\u00adfo\u00adre, it is not sur\u00adpri\u00adsing that in Matthew\u2019s Gos\u00adpel the insti\u00adtu\u00adti\u00adon of the Mes\u00adsiah King as the \u00abSon of God\u00bb, the pro\u00adcla\u00adma\u00adti\u00adon of the daw\u00adning king\u00addom of God and the wis\u00addom-spi\u00adri\u00adtu\u00adal cha\u00adrac\u00adter buil\u00adding of the Ser\u00admon on the Mount are clo\u00adse\u00adly rela\u00adted. The rea\u00adli\u00adsa\u00adti\u00adon of the reign of God is essen\u00adti\u00adal\u00adly con\u00adnec\u00adted with the for\u00adma\u00adti\u00adon of vir\u00adtu\u00ades and cha\u00adrac\u00adter. As I said: If it is to be right with the world, it must be right with man.
\nPsalm 3: Pray\u00ader and trust in God
\nThe third pil\u00adlar of wis\u00addom cha\u00adrac\u00adter buil\u00adding is addres\u00adsed in Psalm 3: Trust in God and pray\u00ader. For peo\u00adp\u00adle who repea\u00adted\u00adly stumb\u00adle in the dance to God\u2019s music, trust in God and pray\u00ader have an important mea\u00adning. It is pro\u00adba\u00adb\u00adly no coin\u00adci\u00addence that pray\u00ader is addres\u00adsed in the midd\u00adle of the Ser\u00admon on the Mount and cul\u00admi\u00adna\u00adtes in the Our Father.
\nFinal\u00adly, we look at the pro\u00adto\u00adty\u00adpe of a fol\u00adlower of Jesus who dances to his music. In Psalm 15, the vir\u00adtu\u00ades are men\u00adtio\u00adned. They can be sum\u00adma\u00adri\u00adsed in today\u2019s lan\u00adguage like this: Straight\u00adfor\u00adward, honest, truthful, con\u00adtrol\u00adled in speech, fair, non-vio\u00adlent, cou\u00adra\u00adge\u00adous, ori\u00aden\u00adted towards truthful\u00adness, kee\u00adping pro\u00admi\u00adses, free from cor\u00adrup\u00adti\u00adon, steadfast.
\nThe Ser\u00admon on the Mount invi\u00adtes us to beco\u00adme peo\u00adp\u00adle who repre\u00adsent God\u2019s reign on this earth by trans\u00adforming our being. What an honour!
