\nJesus is our foundation
\nThe Old Tes\u00adta\u00adment is full of abso\u00adlut\u00ade\u00adly fasci\u00adna\u00adting sto\u00adries like that of Dani\u00adel. They are peo\u00adp\u00adle who com\u00adple\u00adte\u00adly let them\u00adsel\u00adves fall into God. Peo\u00adp\u00adle who trus\u00adted God with all their heart and mind. The won\u00adderful thing about our time today is that Jesus has chan\u00adged the dyna\u00admic bet\u00adween God and peo\u00adp\u00adle per\u00adma\u00adnent\u00adly. Whe\u00adre lega\u00adlism used to lead to God, this draws ridi\u00adcu\u00adle to the grace of Jesus. But, what exact\u00adly is grace? Grace is when it is in your power to punish someone for some\u00adthing, but you don\u2019t do it. Grace hap\u00adpen\u00aded when, for exam\u00adp\u00adle, David met Saul asleep in the cave and could have final\u00adly kil\u00adled him, but did\u00adn\u2019t. We were dead becau\u00adse of our trans\u00adgres\u00adsi\u00adons, but he loved us so much that he made us ali\u00adve tog\u00ade\u00adther with Christ. Yes, it is not\u00adhing but grace that you are saved! None of this is our merit, it is all given. It is all grace. This gives us a new per\u00adspec\u00adti\u00adve: hea\u00adven is not the desti\u00adna\u00adti\u00adon, hea\u00adven is the start\u00ading point! Our per\u00adspec\u00adti\u00adve is that of vic\u00adto\u00adrious peo\u00adp\u00adle. We are not poor, we are not losers, we are not oppres\u00adsors of the ene\u00admy. The ene\u00admy has no right to take hold of us. He lost it when Jesus died our death and defea\u00adted him. The important thing to under\u00adstand is that this vic\u00adto\u00adry is not for Jesus. He won it for us! Jesus died and rose again repre\u00adsen\u00adting all huma\u00adni\u00adty and thus paid our pri\u00adce. Jesus ser\u00adved. How hum\u00adbly he ser\u00adved is shown when he said at the end of his time on earth that he had to go so that a bet\u00adter one could come. A pie\u00adce of God is here on earth and wants to live in every human being. When you have given your life to Jesus, the Holy Spi\u00adrit beg\u00adins to chan\u00adge you from the insi\u00adde. He now lives in you. This is the foun\u00adda\u00adti\u00adon of every Chris\u00adti\u00adan who lives a per\u00adso\u00adnal rela\u00adti\u00adonship with Jesus. That is our start\u00ading point.
\nGod is a relationship
\nOne of the gre\u00adat reve\u00adla\u00adti\u00adons for me is that God is a rela\u00adti\u00adonship. A year and a half ago, things chan\u00adged dra\u00adsti\u00adcal\u00adly in my life. All of a sud\u00adden I had this fire in me. The\u00adre is a hun\u00adger to read the Word, rep\u00adent of my sin\u00adful deeds and wor\u00adship Jesus. For a long time I thought that I had found Jesus. In the mean\u00adti\u00adme, I belie\u00adve it was the other way around. All I have done is to give up my heart. In the most beau\u00adtiful way, he took it and star\u00adted working on me. So I don\u2019t belie\u00adve that we enter the King\u00addom of God head first. I don\u2019t belie\u00adve that by kno\u00adwing more about the Bible we get clo\u00adser to the heart of Jesus and then expe\u00adri\u00adence Him. It starts with the heart. It always helps me to compa\u00adre the rela\u00adti\u00adonship with Jesus to a human rela\u00adti\u00adonship. The fuel for rela\u00adti\u00adonships is time tog\u00ade\u00adther. The rela\u00adti\u00adonship is nou\u00adris\u00adhed and trust is streng\u00adthe\u00adned by spen\u00adding time with our part\u00adner or fri\u00adends. It does not work if we take two hours of inten\u00adsi\u00adve time once a week. It takes regu\u00adlar affec\u00adtion and honest sha\u00adring to live an inti\u00adma\u00adte love rela\u00adti\u00adonship and an open heart. Jesus longs for peo\u00adp\u00adle to open their hearts to him so that he can live an inti\u00adma\u00adte love rela\u00adti\u00adonship with them!
\nA rela\u00adti\u00adonship thri\u00adves on the acti\u00adve par\u00adti\u00adci\u00adpa\u00adti\u00adon of both par\u00adties. My rela\u00adti\u00adonship with Jesus is rela\u00adtively fresh and young and I learn some\u00adthing every day. I don\u2019t have an ulti\u00adma\u00adte ans\u00adwer to what life with Jesus looks like. Howe\u00adver, I have lear\u00adned that I can play an acti\u00adve part in my rela\u00adti\u00adonship with Jesus. The\u00adse three points help me to nur\u00adtu\u00adre my Jesus rela\u00adti\u00adonship every day:<\/p>\n
\n\tSpend time in the Word regularly
\n\tSur\u00adround yours\u00adelf with peo\u00adp\u00adle who are also fasci\u00adna\u00adted by Jesus.<\/p>\n
\nThe\u00adse three points help me to do my part in an acti\u00adve rela\u00adti\u00adonship with Jesus. He does the buil\u00adding of the foun\u00adda\u00adti\u00adon, the inner chan\u00adge that leads to my iden\u00adti\u00adty and ulti\u00adm\u00adate\u00adly makes me able to ser\u00adve like Daniel.
\nThe big order
\nSo what do we do now with our foundation?
\nAll aut\u00adho\u00adri\u00adty in hea\u00adven and on earth has been given to me. The\u00adr\u00ade\u00adfo\u00adre go to all nati\u00adons and make disci\u00adples of men, bap\u00adti\u00adsing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spi\u00adrit, tea\u00adching them to obser\u00adve all that I have com\u00adman\u00added you. And be sure, I am with you every day until the end of the world\u00bb (Matthew 28:18\u201320 NG\u00dc<\/span>).
\nMay I sug\u00adgest that this is not just for mis\u00adsio\u00adna\u00adries abroad and that we can all spread the King\u00addom of God in our work\u00adplace or school? Jesus says that we should go into the world becau\u00adse all power has been given to him. We go on his behalf, not becau\u00adse of our strength. We go becau\u00adse he dele\u00adga\u00adtes aut\u00adho\u00adri\u00adty to us, just as aut\u00adho\u00adri\u00adty is dele\u00adga\u00adted to a poli\u00adce\u00adman. The\u00adr\u00ade\u00adfo\u00adre, we go in the name of Jesus and with the Holy Spi\u00adrit living in us and gui\u00adding us.

\nFrom the exam\u00adp\u00adle of Daniel\u2019s sto\u00adry we can learn how to influence the cul\u00adtures around us and thus spread the King\u00addom of God. Dani\u00adel ser\u00adved three ungod\u00adly kings in his life\u00adtime, he had the mind\u00adset of a ser\u00advant. With the strong foun\u00adda\u00adti\u00adon of an acti\u00adve and inti\u00adma\u00adte rela\u00adti\u00adonship with Jesus, we let God shape and prepa\u00adre us to influence the cul\u00adtures around us. My desi\u00adre for the church is that we grow bey\u00adond our own walls. Jesus did not call us to go to church with his gre\u00adat com\u00admis\u00adsi\u00adon. He cal\u00adled us to be the church and to be salt and light in the world. My wish for you is that you can find your place of influence. Embark on a new adven\u00adture with the Holy Spi\u00adrit every day. He will show you what you can do. He will give you ways to make an impact on your envi\u00adron\u00adment and not only be a bles\u00adsed one, but also be a bles\u00adsing to the peo\u00adp\u00adle around you.
